LOOKING FOR PET FRIENDLY HOTELS?
As a pet friendly hotel, the Mauger Estate B&B is a perfect choice for your next vacation or business trip, and bring Fido along for the ride! Stop looking for a pet friendly hotel, and book a room at the Mauger, you will be glad you did.
We have a specific room with a dog door, fenced side yard, dog beds, bowls and treats. At the Mauger, dogs enjoy their stay as much as their humans do. Our townhouse is pet friendly as well, with a small fenced patio off of the kitchen. We offer comfort and style to you and your dog, and we are a superior alternative to a pet friendly hotel! One time fee of $20. Sorry, we cannot accommodate cats.
There are many things to see and do in and around Albuquerque with your best friend along. Many guests have enjoyed our ideal location and comfortable pet friendly accommodations.
Hiking along the The Rio Grande Bosque Trail is a favorite of many furry friends. The nearest trailhead is 1.5 miles from the Mauger Estate at the Biopark, and Tingley Beach is also a popular spot to hop on the trail.
Hiking in the Sandia foothills showcases the desert landscape. La Luz trail is the most popular (and difficult) of them all, but offers the most reward with its panoramic views and diverse landscape.
The Petroglyphs National Monument is another popular and fun adventure for guests and dogs. This site features designs and symbols carved into volcanic rocks by Native Americans and Spanish settlers 400 to 700 years ago.
PET FRIENDLY RESTAURANTS
Nob Hill has many pet friendly spots including Kelly’s Brew Pub, O’Neills Pub, and most retail stores.
Old Town is a great place to stroll through history with your dog, and Church Street Cafe allows dogs on the patio. Flying Star on Rio Grande (about 2 miles north of Old Town) has a cozy “petio” for you and your dog to dine in style.
Most of the breweries in town allow dogs on their patios. A few of the closest to us include: Marble Brewery, La Cumbre Brewery, The Canteen, Red Door Brewing, and Bow and Arrow Brewing.
While Albuquerque is a “leash law” city, there are several off leash dog parks. The closest to us is Rio Grande Triangle Park at 301 McKnight Ave. NW (1.3miles).
We welcome all guest, including your four-legged friends here at Mauger Estate Bed and Breakfast. They’ll thank you for it while having the time and space as they play in the outdoor fenced doggie play area.
